The Main International Exchange Programs
The School of Sports Science and Physical Education strongly support four excellent international exchange programs with the University of Georgia, the Amsterdam University of Applied Science, Bournemouth University and Palacky University Olomouc.
We have many courses taught in English like: Sport Marketing, Sports Human Resources, Sport Consumer Behavior, Research Methods and Statistics, Strategic Management in sport industry, Didactics & Methodics of Physical Education in Primary Education, Administrative Theory in Sport Industry, International Sport Law, Motor Control and etc., from which we collect really terrific feedback from our students.
We have three excellent international exchange programs and a summer school exchange program:
1. University of Georgia
We have this exchange program with University of Georgia. Students can obtain the master degrees of UGA and SWUFE. They can get Master of Sport Administration (non thesis) of UGA. It provides the opportunity for advanced study related to exercise science, physical education, and sport management and policy.
1.1 Dual-Master degree:(1+1+1 program; 1+1 program)
The duration of SWUFE Master’s degree (with thesis) study is 3years (full time), Master’s degree (with no thesis) study is 2 years. SWUFE post graduates shall study at SWUFE for the first year. If they meet UGA enter criteria, i.e. a minimum of TOFEL 80 or equivalent, up to 5 selected students shall come to the U.S to study at UGA-SMP for the second year during which time they will complete the identified Master Degree program in the Department of Kinesiology. The spring semester and fall semester enrolled master programs will be open to SWUFE-SSEP taught students to apply during their first year in SWUFE.

1.2 Visiting students(0.5-1year)
Students with TOFEL 80 but writing and speaking is more than 20, will have chance to visit UGA as visiting students, and can stay there for half year or one year.
Application requirements:
A. Every student candidate must finish required courses in SWUFE before they enroll the UGA.
B. Students with TOFEL 80 but writing and speaking is less than 20, will join a pre-sessional English course prior to starting the program and may also be required to complete a 1 term in-session English course.
C. Student in SWUFE Master’s degree program(with thesis, 3 years) who participate in the Dual-Master Degree Program will be enrolled for the dual degree at SWUFE-SSPE, during the second year, they will be enrolled a Master (with no thesis) at UGA-SMP. Students must complete all the program requirements at UGA-SMP in order to be awarded the UGA-SMP Master. Successful completion of the UGA-SMP Masters will be recognized as completion of year two of the SWUFE-SSEP Masters program. These students shall return to SWUFE for their third year study.
D. Student in SWUFE Master’s degree program(with no thesis, 3 years) who participate in the Dual-Master Degree Program will be enrolled for for the dual degree at SWUFE-SSPE, they could apply for a Master (with no thesis) at UGA-SMP.  Students must complete all the program requirements at UGA-SMP in order to be awarded the UGA-SMP Master. Successful completion of the UGA-SMP Masters will be recognized as completion of an academic year of the SWUFE-SSEP Masters program. These students shall return to SWUFE for their rest study.

2. Amsterdam University of Applied Science (AUAS)
Students from SWUFE can study in AUAS for one semester under the terms of a bilateral agreement between the School of Sports and Nutrition of AUAS and  the School of Sports Science and Physical Education of SWUFE.
The available minors include: minor in sport development; minor in high performance sport; minor in sport commercial management.

SPORTS AND NUTRITION EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES
Students who would like to do an exchange programme at the School of Sports and Nutrition can choose from three different minors (fixed programmes of 30 ECTS). Each of the minors takes place during the autumn semester (September through January). If you would like to study one of these minors during the 2016/2017 academic year, you must apply before 1 May 2016 (further information is provided below). The available minors include:

MINOR IN SPORT DEVELOPMENT (30 ECTS credits)
The Sport Development minor addresses social challenges through sport in a national and international context. The aims of Sport Development are inclusion, empowering people and building communities through sustainable sport programmes. Subjects cover a diverse range of topics, including capacity building, sport policy and governance, social entrepreneurship and intercultural communication.

MINOR IN HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORT (30 ECTS credits)
The High Performance Sport minor focuses on the management aspects within the world of High Performance Sport. This industry is dedicated to striving for excellence and students will be taught in such an environment. The subjects covered include sport policy and governance, sport marketing, sport media and sport law, among many others.

MINOR IN SPORT COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT (30 ECTS credits)
The Sport Commercial Management programme focus on business and management. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, the courses combine knowledge about business cultures, product design, consumer research and functional sport science with economics, international marketing, intercultural management and business ethics.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Because all of these minors are taught in English, it is important for all exchange students to have strong written and verbal English skills. Non-native English speakers will be required to provide proof of their English level, based on a TOEFL or IELTS test completed within the last year. The minimum score for enrollment is 6.0 for IELTS or a TOEFL 550 (paper-based)/213 (computer-based)/80 (internet-based) score.

3. Bournemouth University
Bournemouth University (BU) welcomes applications from students of SWUFE’s School of Sports Science and Physical Education to study programmes at BU. Students at SWUFE who have completed the first year of postgraduate taught course in Sport related subjects, are welcome to apply to study a relevant BU Master’s degree. The suggested courses are as below:

4.Palacky University Olomouc
The Summer School is aimed at students/academic employees working on
various topics related to physical activity, healthy lifestyle and sport. During the
last decades, physical activities, healthy lifestyle issues and sport have played an
increasing role in the public health sector. The Summer School will provide space to exchange ideas and knowledge about current, trends and "hot issues" as well as to share information on research, theories and methods in the area of sports and healthy lifestyle.
Palacky University (UP) and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics(SWUFE) can send students to each other to attend the summer school(according to the policy of every year) with agreed fees during the period of validity of bilateral Agreement. Home Institution is responsible for choosing students according to the requirement of Host Institution. Exchange students shall comply with the policy of the Host Institution and the local legislation.
